CapTherm Receives $95,000 Through Canada’s SR&ED Program

CapTherm is pleased to announce that its recent and first fiscal year end SR&ED application has been approved. The non-repayable government cash refund in the order of $95,000 supports technical salaries, R&D equipment and materials and will further enhance the company’s ability to successfully develop and commercialize its next generation proprietary cooling technology.

Canada offers a strategic advantage to innovative companies conducting R&D by supporting disruptive research enabling local companies to conduct R&D for pennies on the dollar.

The SR&ED Program is a federal tax incentive program, administered by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) that encourages Canadian businesses of all sizes, and in all sectors to conduct research and development (R&D) in Canada. It is the largest single source of federal government support for industrial R&D. The SR&ED Program gives claimants cash refunds and / or tax credits for their expenditures on eligible R&D work done in Canada..
